Social well-being of ethno-social groups in Buryatia

The article analyzes some of the results of a mass survey of residents of Buryatia (2018-2019). The indicators of the social well-being of ethnic and social groups of the Republic, which largely determine the stability of interethnic relations in the region, are considered. The conclusion is made about the satisfaction of the majority of respondents with their life activities and a positive perception of prospects of the future, despite the existing problems of socio-economic development of the Republic. There are two main resources that the respondents will rely on in solving life problems - the help of relatives and friends, as well as their own points. The key issues are shown, the solution of which will lead to a change in the situation for the better in the region. They are associated with an increase in the level and quality of life of citizens, decrease in social inequality and migration moods, overcoming the infrastructural and spatial polarization of territories.
