Social well-being of teachers and their attitude to the reform of education

The article examines the issues of social well-being of teachers and their attitude to the ongoing reform in the system of education. The study was based on the findings of the sociological surveys of teachers in Moscow and Vologda oblasts conducted in 2015. In the analysis of the social well-being of teachers and their attitude to the reform a special attention was paid to the position of young teachers. The obtained results show that teachers in the regions with different socio-economic conditions are unanimous in their assessment of their social well-being and attitude to the reform.
