The article examines the role of the social well-being of military personnel discharged into the reserve in their success in entrepreneurial activity. Entrepreneurship is one of the most effective ways of social adaptation for discharged military personnel, as it requires skills and qualities that are often inherent in the military, such as discipline, dedication, the ability to work in a team and make risky decisions. However, not all military personnel in the reserve are equally well adapted to starting their own business. The social well-being of military personnel discharged into the reserve is an important aspect that affects their adaptation to entrepreneurial activity. The skills acquired during the service, such as management experience, responsibility and discipline increase the sense of personal competence and readiness to solve non-standard tasks, which creates a favorable ground for entrepreneurial activity. The results of the study conducted by the authors of the article confirm the hypothesis that the social well-being of military personnel discharged into the reserve is a factor of success in entrepreneurial activity. Military personnel with a higher level of social well-being have significant potential for successful entrepreneurial activity. They are motivated, have the necessary management skills and experience, and are ready to work in conditions of uncertainty.
