Social well-being of inhabitants of Ulan-Ude in the conditions of transformation of Russian society

The article presents the results of studies of social well-being of the inhabitants of Ulan-Ude, based on the questionnaire. The main indicators that have the greatest impact on social well-being are considered. The activity of the mass media and its impact on the representation of the inhabitants of Ulan-Ude on the activities of the authorities and opinion about the city as a whole are analyzed.
