Social aspects of knowledge and information correlation in technical education

The article deals with the correlation of knowledge and information in technical education in the conditions of rapidly developing information society. The scientific relevance of the research is determined by the need for more and more effective reproduction and acquisition of knowledge in the world of enormous information content. The distinction between the concepts of “knowledge” and “information” is analysed. The authors consider the main approaches to the evaluation of the impact of information technologies on the development of technical knowledge.
