Social factors of dehumanization of the modern urban space

This article considers the relevant for contemporary philosophy of science and technology problem of influence of determination factors on the processes of urbanization and changes of a modern city in the conditions of global trade. The author focuses on the causes of the urban space transformations in the process of continuing urbanization, the impact of economic interests on the pattern of urban development, considering the urban environment as a space of consumption. The special attention is paid to the priorities of a human being, one’s rights and interests, which should underlie the urban planning policy of the modern city.
