Relationships of social and economic indicators of territorial strategies

He article considers one of the classic problems of development management, which is associated with the priority of social or economic goals. The analysis was carried out on the example of the "Strategy for the socio-economic development of the city of Kursk for 2019-2030." The pronounced social orientation of this document is established. Economic guidelines in the Strategy are practically not considered. The fallacy of a similar (rather typical) approach to the development of the Strategy is proved. Given the limited resources for territorial development, neglect of economic strategic goals will lead, in the author's opinion, to an unacceptably high dependence of the results of territorial development on external resources. This is highly likely to lead to the failure to achieve the planned social indicators.
