Social change the European identity and its formation in modern Russia

In article on the basis of the content analysis and using materials of the empirical research analyses the processes of development of European identity and the peculiarities of its formation in modern Russia. Attention the main limitation of the current priorities of the European identity in contemporary Russia and analyzes the factors that ensures the full sovereignty of the state, the freedom of choice of social development and protection of the rights of citizens.
