In conditions of intensive development of social relations based on innovative technologies and global sociocultural challenges, fundamentally new risks arise, including the aggravation of social problems in the activities of enterprises, and the influence of the quality of social management on competitiveness increases. Social changes in the development strategy of enterprises affect the entire spectrum of interaction between various professional, qualification and status groups of employees. Consequently, one of the goals of an enterprise in the modern world is to manage its social characteristics, which ultimately form its competencies, i.e. human potential. At the same time, social management at enterprises, which are characterized by different starting conditions and resource availability, is a rather complex process. Based on research data, the article presents the results of an assessment of social dimensions in the development strategy of modern enterprises, including the characteristics of social and labor relations, the degree of involvement of employees in the implementation of strategic goals, an analysis of the working time of managers and other indicators.
