The relevance of the stated topic of the article is due to the need to solve a number of theoretical and methodological problems in the treatment of the science of family law with such concepts as social parent, social father, social educator. The author emphasizes the importance of this topic for theoretical lawyers in scientific and cognitive terms, since so far this category of concepts is not too consciously used in the space of family law. Some of them have already entered the family legal lexicon with the perception of them as ordinary, that is, those who have already been given their own legal meaning. But the problem of their relevance, as well as compatibility with the already existing line of their own legal concepts, is not discussed at all in the science of family law. In this regard, no scientific generalizations have been expressed in this regard. The question of whether the appeal to social concepts, is an extension of the subject, and methods of research of family law science or whether we are facing new aspects of family law reality is also not clear. So far, we can only talk about the actual use in legal circulation of concepts that belong to the field of sociological knowledge, as the field of science where they have their own subject meaning.
