Social changes in the Voronezh village during the 1930's: contradictory outcome

This paper focuses on the transformation of the social structure in the Voronezh region village during the period of industrialization. It touches upon issues of collectivization and dispossession of kulaks, increasing of the educational level of the peasants. The paper reveals the basic goals, objectives, and vectors of the social transformations under the Soviet power, their course and contradictory results.
