Social priorities in the political manifesto of the social democratic parties in the contemporary Russia

The article considers the principle social priorities of the Social Democrats, in particular, the pension system as the most significant one. The author reviews suggested and adopted measures aimed at the pension system reformation. The undertaken research shows that the Social Democrat parties take an active part in discussion of the issue and have the distinct views on the development of the pension system. It is stated that the Social Democratic parties are capable to meet demands of the modern society in their ideology and practical activities.
