Social technologies for improving the quality of life on the example of a model for countering narcotization in Russia and the transition to a policy of sobriety

The article considers a theoretical approach to the development of a model for countering narcotization in Russia in the context of improving the quality of life of the Russian population. The model includes four main elements, the realization of the potential of which ensures successful counteraction to drug addiction and the transition to a policy of sobriety: the actions of public authorities and civil society, reducing supply and demand. The model can be conventionally called a dual (vertical-horizontal) press system. Based on the analysis of international and national experience, the main activities aimed at reducing supply and demand for narcotic substances are described. The article shows the role of tobacco, alcohol and narcotic factors in reducing the quality of life of the population. Based on the results of sociological research, approaches to the formation of motivation for a sober, healthy lifestyle are proposed.
