Social capital as an element of youth social adaptation in regional labor markets

The issues of social adaptation of young people in the labor market are permanent in their relevance. The paper substantiates that social capital as a system of social connections or networks can act as a productive resource in the field of social and labor relations. The object is the social adaptation of young people in the labor market. The subject is employment strategies and channels. The empirical analysis of the research subject is based on Rosstat data and monitoring data on youth issues conducted by the Sector of Socio-Political Research of the Institute for Socio-Economic Research of the Ural Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The leading strategies for youth employment in the Russian and regional labor markets are presented.
