Nowadays restaurant business is one of the most prospective branches in the world economy, for it shows a high level of profitability and a short payback period of investments. The article is concerned with catering industry in Russia, expansion of international catering companies on the Russian market, and challenges of the social catering development and implementation in the Russian food service industry.
