The article is devoted to the consideration of collaborative learning as a social-constructivist approach to learning. A constructivist learning environment is a place where learners interact with each other and help each other, using various tools and information resources that allow them to pursue learning goals and engage in problem solving. The role of language in the development of knowledge in collaborative learning is described.
