Social potential of childhood in a region: building the topical area ontology

The paper considers the social potential of childhood in a region, which is defined as a set of resources, reserves and capabilities of children as a special socio-demographic community living within the territory of a region (of a subject of the Russian Federation). A conceptual map and the underlying ontological model of the topical area are presented.
