Culture sociocode of the modern west: reflection and transformation

The article emphasizes that in Western scientific thought problematic phenomenon of culture is the subject of scientific discourse, in terms of which Western researchers suggest multifactorial understanding of culture. The author finds that culture as a phenomenon of modern development to a greater extent remains secondary to economic and political factors. A study of the genesis of different approaches to understanding the phenomenon of culture suggests that culture throughout the period of updating the sociocode acted as a concept, which tried to understand the role and place of Russia in the world.
