Sociocultural adaptation of young people with disabilities: problems, barriers and prospects for inclusion

The article analyzes the cultural and leisure adaptation of young people with disabilities based on a sociological study conducted in Kursk among 158 respondents aged 17-25. The article considers the issues of accessibility of events, their adaptation to the needs of participants, staff training, the use of digital technologies for information, as well as problems of social isolation and fears of young people with disabilities. Barriers associated with transport accessibility and infrastructure, as well as the role of social support in the integration process are discussed. The article provides recommendations for the creation of inclusive programs aimed at overcoming these barriers and promoting social adaptation of young people with disabilities.
