Sociocultural identity of China in the epoch of globalization

In the article the sociocultural identity as a basis of modern Chinese society consolidation in the context of globalization is considered. The author reveals the nature and specific character of China sociocultural identity as a complex multilayered system, the basic factors of its formation and its key elements. The special accent is done to the significance of cultural values in the process of formation and preservation the Chinese sociocultural identity.
