Socio-cultural infrastructure of the Republic of Dagestan in the 2000s (on the example of the activities of educational institutions)

The article examines the key aspects of the functioning of Dagestan’s social infrastructure in the first decade of the XXI century. The gradual increase in economic indicators achieved during this period enabled government authorities to concentrate their efforts on addressing accumulated social issues. A comprehensive approach to regional social development became paramount, encompassing the implementation of measures aimed at increasing total investments in the socio-cultural sphere. Changes in the social infrastructure are presented in relation to economic processes, highlighting their systemic nature. The article emphasizes that the establishment of modern logistical prospects for the systematic functioning of the social sphere is unattainable without a comprehensive analysis of the 2000s, a period characterized by positive dynamics across all indicators of socio-economic development.
