Sociocultural concepts and theories in the world economy

The actual problem of society is the choice of the direction of further development. In this regard, it is important to analyze the existing theory related to the ongoing globalization of all social processes. The subject of this article is sociocultural theories and concepts of the world economy. The sociocultural theories and concepts of the world economy were investigated: the concept of modernization, the theory of a single civilization and the theory of the clash of civilizations. The most striking characteristics of each concept in the context of the globalization of all social processes were highlighted, and the connection between globalization and contradictions between social groups was reflected.
