Sociocultural vector in professional training of designers

This article discusses the culture-creation function of design language and design professional schools in the life of the society. The author analyses sociocultural milestones in professional training of designers in Russia. The paper considers the requirements to the professional model of designer as a precondition of development of integrated field of education, design and society.
