The article is devoted to the problem of sociolinguistic adaptation of bilinguals when moving to a multicultural country. The paper describes the types of bilingualism. The article discusses the types of adaptation of bilingual children when moving to another country. The author analyzes the types of adaptations and linguistic difficulties associated with this phenomenon. The paper suggests a number of solutions to avoid problems in the adaptation of bilingual children in a new country.
