Socio-linguistic analysis of the American youth subculture: on the basis of the American popular movies for the youth

The article is devoted to the study of American youth subculture and verbal aggression. The analysis focuses on the linguistic research of verbal aggressive statements borrowed from the youth popular movies. The article concludes that American youth subculture, although being against the mainstream culture is determined by the society and mass media.
