Sociologikal studies of tattooing

The article is devoted to the research of modern tattooing. A brief history of the development of the tattoo (army, navy, prison) is presented. Studies of sociologists on which conclusions about the attitude of society to tattooed people have been analyzed. And also two explanatory models of tattooed were revealed: traditional and modern, between which similarities and differences are defined.
