Sociological and political aspects of freedom in modern Russia

The article describes the features of understanding the freedom in its sociological and political aspects, whereof implementation is possibly carried out at the present stage of formation and development of democratic society in Russia. It is proved that a developed and full-fledged civil society is able to provide the crucial elements of stable and effective democracy, which cannot exist without the implementation of human rights and freedoms.
