The content of the value of service to the fatherland in the context of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of historical education

The author studies the content of the traditional value of service to the fatherland and responsibility for its fate in the context of the state policy of the Russian Federation. The author is convinced that, first of all, this category must be interpreted in the context of preserving historical memory and ensuring the continuity of generations of defenders of the Fatherland. The author believes that "service" should be understood not only as the performance of military exploits, but also as the selfless work of civilians for the glory of the Fatherland.
