Glycogen content in epithelial cells of mixed salivary glands of omnivorous

The aim of this study was to determine the content of glycogen in the epithelial cells mixed salivary glands omnivorous animals. The object of research are mature and clinically healthy individuals wild boar (5) and domestic pigs (5). As a result revealed that the content of glycogen in the mixed salivary glands, both large and small salivary glands, very little. Although there are differences in the content of the polysaccharide in domestic and wild animals, but these differences are small, that is an indicator of a high metabolism.
