The article deals with the content and peculiarities of younger students ’ learning activity in small groups. The creation of small groups is projected on the learning objectives of music and promotes their successful realization. The article is addressed to a wide range of professionals who want to individualize the classroom activities, fully realize the needs and abilities of today’s students, and it provides to optimize their performance in the light of current requirements to educational process.
