Heavy metals content in organs and muscles of broiler chicks under the influence of toxipol

The author investigated the effect of multi-component sorbent addition of toxipol on productivity of broiler chicks and estimated the possibility of prevention of heavy metals accumulation in organs and tissues of birds. It was shown, that use of the rations with 5 kg/t of toxipol promote to increase of broilers vital capacity and reduction of food outlays on 1 kg of liveweight gain by 4,0 and 6,5 %, respectively, as compared with control. It was shown, that addition toxipol to mixed fodder with increased content of heavy metal salts appreciably decreases amounts of mercury, cadmium and lead in liver, kidneys and muscles tissues.
