Content of intent in case of extortion as a dynamic category

The article deals with main problems related to the interpretation of signs of the subjective side of extortion, primarily the content of intent. The author gives a retrospective analysis of the interpretation of the category of intent while extorting in studies of authors of the Soviet and modern period of criminal law development. The content of intent is revealed as a dynamic category. In the author’s opinion, it must be considered at three static points of the time interval: 1) before starting of criminal acts, 2) during their implementation, and 3) after performing the actions that form the objective side of the composition. The author draws the conclusion the subjective side of extortion in its content is a psychological process aimed at committing a socially dangerous act and consisting of an intellectual, powerful and emotional reflection of the activity process, as well as from the following attitude of the subject to the results of his activity.
