The article deals with the phenomenon of cross-cultural communication and the main content-related characteristics of cross-cultural communication teaching process to students of a non-linguistic university such as the sphere, the theme, the situation, the text, the verbal information, linguistic and cross-cultural knowledge. The experimental basis of the research is the results of a questionnaire survey of Togliatti Academy of Management students and TAoM managers' polling. This allows to evaluate the content of the working programme of the discipline “Foreign Language” for students of the bachelor degree course “080200.62 Management” and to distinguish the peculiarities of socio-cultural position formation of future managers.
