Production sharing agreement as a form of implementation of public-private partnership

The state, as a guarantor of implementation of socioeconomic functions in the public sector, is interested in partnership with businesses that may contribute to the effective implementation of government commitments. Production sharing agreement (PSA) can be considered as an option of economic sectors interaction in the framework of public-private partnership. The article discusses the theoretical and methodological foundations for the use of PSA as a specific and promising form of public-private partnership. The article considers the features of agreements, status of the parties, as well as a number of challenges associated with the possibility of their effective application.
