Consent as a condition and a result of cultural convergence

The aim of the article is the understanding of the consent as a condition and a result of the process of cultural convergence. The article points out the meanings of a term «consent» and it also reveals the content of the concept «cultural convergence». Besides, P.A. Sorokins conception of convergence is considered and the evidences, that prove correctness of his prognosis concerning convergence between Russia and the USA are given.
