Preservation of native languages of indigenous peoples of the North in the aspect of sociological research

This paper summarizes and analyzes data from sociological surveys conducted by employees of the Ob-Ugric Institute of Applied Research and Development (2023 and earlier) in the Beloyarsky and Berezovsky districts of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra on selected topics. In particular, the opinion of representatives of the indigenous peoples of the North of the above-mentioned regions of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra on the role of the family in the preservation and development of native languages is considered.
