Statement of the problem. Combinations of conjunctions and particles are considered in the works of many scientists. To form a combination, the conjunction and the particle must have a common meaning. One example of such combinations is i eshcho (and also). The purpose of the article is to consider the meanings of the components of the combination i eshcho and the meaning of the combination i eshcho, analyze the syntactic uses and also characterize its compatibility with other lexical classes. Review of scientific literature on the problem. I.N. Kruchinina, M.I. Cheremisina, A.F. Priyatkina, E.A. Starodumova and other scientists are exploring combinations of conjunctions and particles The research material includes examples from the National Corpus of the Russian Language. Methodology (materials and methods). Examples from the National Corpus of the Russian Language are used as materials for the study. The main method used in the work is a descriptive method, which is a direct description of the obtained research results. The work also uses a method of contextual and semantic analysis. Research results. During the study, the meanings of the combination i eshcho were examined and examples of its use within the statement and in the text were analyzed, as well as its compatibility with other lexical classes.
