Socrates, «Euthyphro» and analytical philosophy

The purpose of the article is to examine the origin of the main syntagma of analytical philosophy, namely, elliptical reasoning about the relationship of truth and normativity of statements of scientific theory. The author proves the fundamental difference between the correspondent and coherent theory of truth and makes an informed choice in favor of the first.
