Correlation of the legal status of participants in a class action in civil proceedings: a person conducting a case in the interests of a group of persons and a legal representative

The scientific article is devoted to a comparative analysis of the legal status of a person conducting a case in the interests of a group of persons, and a judicial representative. The comparative analysis is based on such criteria as: subject composition, features and procedure for empowerment, scope of powers, grounds for terminating a case to protect the rights and legitimate interests of a group of persons, as well as procedural consequences of terminating the powers of persons participating in the case in the interests of the group persons in civil proceedings. The study made it possible to identify debatable issues that require legislative interpretation and additional legal regulation.
