Relevance of the regional sphere of education to the tasks of forming professional competencies and the goals of sustainable development (based on materials from the Perm territory)

The article presents the results of the conformity assessment study of the conformity of regional vocational education systems to the needs of the regional economy and society in training personnel. It has been established that the competency-based approach to the training of modern personnel allows us to ensure the qualifications and professional qualities and requirements for employees, specialists and managers that modern society puts forward in the context of globalization, networkization, digitalization and sustainable development.
