Compliance of regional strategic documents of socio-economic development with the main directions of support for small and medium-sized businesses in the Russian Federation on the example of Sverdlovsk region

Today, the development of a support system for small and medium-sized businesses is one of the top priorities in state policy in the Russian Federation. The number of business representatives in the entire state is growing every year. Currently, there are more than 6 million small and medium-sized businesses in Russia, whose share in the gross domestic product of the country is more than 21%. It can be argued that this system is key to the development of the state’s economy and requires an effective support mechanism.
