Socio-economic and socio-psychological changes in society contribute to the formation of personality traits that adapt a person to historical changes. In the case of “psychological vulnerabilities” of an individual (in ICD-10, heading Z73.1 Accentuated personality traits), it is important to know the severity and direction of such changes. Objective. To assess the influence on the formation of personality traits of the phenomenon of perestroika in Russian society, to assess the threats of changes in personality traits towards maladaptation. Material and Methods. The study involved two groups of subjects aged 19 years (age is indicated at the time of testing in 1992 and 2016). We conventionally designated groups as “fathers” and “children”. The comparison groups included second-year students of the medical faculty of the medical university. Each group included 100 students. The following methods were used: Cattell's 16 Personality Factors test (16 PF), R. Amthauer test of structure of intelligence, and Nuttin's Motivational Induction Method...
