Crossing of authority and gender hierarchies in the context of "shift to the right" in Europe

Today, gender studies often appeal to phenomena of gender structure, gender hierarchy, etc. In most cases, such phenomena in the research vein appear to be quite static. Meanwhile, gender order significantly varies depending on the political force that operates with it. The author makes an assumption about the influence of the power of the conservative agenda on reproductive policies in national politics. It is assumed that the gender and political hierarchies in this vein are interrelated, and the constellation of parties in a party system can significantly influence some aspects of the gender hierarchy. This problem is of particular importance in the context of the «shift to the right» in modern Europe. Based on the results of the regression analysis, the author confirms the hypothesis expressed earlier. Indeed, the scale of right-wing forces in national politics significantly influences the reproductive health policy and the gender hierarchy as a whole. In addition, such factors as the number of abortions, the representation of women in a national legislature, and the nature of the religion, that dominates the state, significantly influence reproductive policies.
