Students’ resistance in teaching as a psychological phenomenon: recognize cannot be ignored

The article is devoted to the analysis of the phenomenon of resistance in teaching students. Different types of resistance are discussed: according to the criteria of the demonstration method (active and passive resistance), temporal relevance (resistance as the result of the current pedagogical situation, and resistance as the result of the subject’s past experience). Depending on the attitude towards resistance, expressed either in overcoming it or in maintaining, various strategies for dealing with this phenomenon in the educational practice of the university are outlined
