An ornamental sunflower variety Geliya of VNIIMK breeding

In 2023, an ornamental sunflower variety Geliya was transferred to the State Commission of the Russian Federation on testing and protection of breeding achievements. It was developed by crossing lines LD 24 and LD 30, and consequent self-pollination under individual selection by traits of morphotype with transfer of a fertile line on CMS RIG. The originator of the ornamental sunflower variety Geliya is V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops.
