Bean variety of vegetable Marusya - a promising new variety selection of the Omsk SAU

The article presents the results of the scientific work of the team of the Department of Agronomy, Breeding and Seed Production of Omsk State Agrarian University for the creation of a new variety of Marusya vegetable beans, which since 2015 has been entered in the State Register of Breeding Achievements Approved for Use and Patent for Breeding Achievement (№ 7845). The work on sorting out the vegetable bean collection was carried out according to the type of collection nursery from 1999 to 2018 in the fields of selection crop rotation of the Training and Experimental Farm of the Omsk State Agrarian University, which is located in the southern forest-steppe of the Omsk Region. The soil of the experimental plot is meadow chernozem. The agrometeorological conditions during the research period were quite contrasting, which made it possible to isolate study and evaluate more precisely the vegetable bean varieties by their economically valuable characteristics and the chemical composition of green beans...
