In 2024, the oil flax variety Lazurit, developed by individual selection from the hybrid combination K4182 х K4186, was submitted to the Russian State Commission for Testing and Protection of Breeding Achievements. The variety is characterized by resistance to field drought, seed shattering losses and plant lodging, and is resistant to Fusarium blight. The originator of the oil flax variety Lazurit is V.S. Pustovoit All-Russian Research Institute of Oil Crops.
