The spring rapeseed eultivar ruyan

The spring rapeseed cultivar Ruyan was developed by a method of individual selection and selfpollination from the interspecific hybrid which was developed as a result of step-by-step crosses [(cultivar Ruyan x No32) x cultivar VNIIMK 214]. The cultivar Ruyan exceeds the standard cultivar Tavrion in seed yield on 0.42 t per ha, in oil yield - on 0.17 t per ha. The cultivar Ruyan is of “00” type (free erucic acid, with low glucosinolate content), tolerant to fusatiosis. It was submitted into the State variety commission in 2015.
