The research of helianthus tuberosus in the conditions of subtaiga zone West Siberia

Helianthus tuberosus is one of the promising crop with unique biochemical content. In the article the possibility of growing of the plant in Siberia conditions, influence of weather conditions on yield and production quality are considered. Peculiarities of the growth and development of different varieties of Helianthus tuberosus in sub-taiga of Western Siberia are shown. Some promising varieties of Helianthus tuberosus by yield of tubers (367-648 kg/ha) are marked - Hybrid N. Pasco 12/31, Blanc precoce, Gigant, Kievskii krasnyi, Omskii belyi, Sireniki 2. By sugar and inulin content three varieties of Helianthus tuberosus were marked: Choice form № 10/2001, Omskii belyi, Skorospelka - 6.89-8.84% by sugar and 6.20-7.95% inulin. Least valuable on inulin and sugar content are varieties Dietichesky, Vilgortsky, Omsky krasniy - 1.86-2.90 and 2.06-3.20% respectively in weather conditions of this year. According to results of conducted research recommended: production plantations better place in zones with more favorable edaphoclimatic conditions for full research of biological potential of varieties and getting maximum yield of tubers.
