In this article we study the composition and the structure of the cycle of stichera anastasima found in the Octoechoi with the genre (systematic) order of hymns. Based on 16 such hymnals, we show that the Octoechoi can be divided into four groups . Some Octoechoi have a brief redaction of the cycle of stichera anastasima with the strict “3+1” structure. According to such structure, the Sunday Great Vespers has three stichera for “Kurie Ekekraxa” and one apostichon, similarly the Sunday Matins has three stichera for Lauds and one apostichon. The stichera anastasima of the Octoechoi of the first and second groups follow the such structure. The Octoechoi of the first group are unfamiliar with the stichera anatolika and alphabetica, but contain the well-known stichera anastasima only. The set of the stichera anastasima of the second group Octoechoi differs from that of the first group Octoechoi. Manuscripts with more extensive repertoire of the stichera anastasima form the third and the most numerous group of the Octoechoi, which obviously do not follow the “3+1” structure and contain some stichera anatolika as well as those unknown to printed Octoechoi (we find 31 such hymns)...
